Prescribed template for sworn declaration required from RBEs to avail VAT zero-rating now available

This Tax Alert is issued to inform all concerned on the prescribed template for sworn declaration to be executed by Registered Business Enterprises (RBEs) for their local suppliers of goods and services to avail of the VAT zero-rating incentive. 

RMC No. 24-2022 provides that prior to the sale transaction, the registered export enterprise buyers shall provide their suppliers with a photocopy of the BIR-Certificate of Registration (BIR Form No. 2303), Certificate of Registration and VAT certification issued by the concerned IPA. In addition, the registered export enterprises shall provide their suppliers a sworn declaration stating that the goods and/or services being purchased shall be used directly and exclusively in the registered project.
