Paranaque and Muntinlupa extend deadline for renewal of business permits for 2020

This Tax Alert is issued to inform all concerned taxpayers on the extended deadline for filing and/or payment of local business tax of certain local government units (LGU’s) for 2020.

Based on the notices posted in the respective LGU offices or websites, the following LGUs have extended the deadlines for assessments and payments for LGU renewal of business registration.

City of Paranaque

The deadline for assessment of business permits without penalty was extended to January 25, 2020. The payment of business taxes, fees, and charges was extended to January 31, 2020.

City of Muntinlupa

The deadline for business permit renewal was extended to January 31, 2020.

For the other major cities in Metro Manila, no extension on filing and/or payment deadline have been announced.
